Cross Sections / Alkanes+alkyl radicals / Alkanes / n-C4H10 / OkabeBecker(1963)_298K_120-166nm

DATAFILE: n-C4H10_OkabeBecker(1963)_298K_120-166nm.txt
NAME: n-butane
FORMULA: n-C4H10
AUTHOR(YEAR): OkabeBecker(1963)
T: 298K
λ: 120-166nm
BIBLIOGRAPHY: H. Okabe and D.A. Becker, "Vacuum ultraviolet photochemistry. VII. Photolysis of n-butane", J. Chem. Phys, 39, 2549-2555 (1963); DOI: 10.1063/1.1734058
COMMENTS: Absorption measurements using a vacuum-ultraviolet monochromator and a hydrogen discharge lamp as a light source

The absorption spectrum (k (atm, 298K)-1 cm-1 (base e) vs. wavelength) shown in Fig. 1 has been digitized, and the absorption coefficients have been converted to absorption cross sections (conversion factor 4.06×10-20)
